Karateka (2012) is an HD remake of the 1984 side-scrolling fighting game. The game features updated graphics and music from Grammy Award-winning composer Christopher Tin. Jordan Mechner, creator of the original and the remake, describes the 2012 title as a "compact, pick-up-and-play game that is fluid, atmospheric, and beautiful."
